Maybe they have worked on his conditioning to make him less injury-prone. If a bodybuilder played rugby, chances are they would also be injury-prone- just not conditioned for a sport.
It wasn't long ago Ulster offered him a contract, and he resigned from the Bulls. Then Ulster tore up the contract.... and he was jobless. Was then lucky to be signed for London Scottish who was relegated the next season.

I expected it - White mentioned a mystery signing to be announced soon and he mentioned a 108 kg player, This guy may end up as the Springbok no 8 to replace Vermeulen - but his injury problems will have to be overcome. .
