Poor lad hasn't put a foot wrong since he became a Bok and yet I don't recall him ever having his own thread(I could be wrong).

After yesterday's game, he certainly deserves some flowers.

I'm trying to think if I ever recall something he has done in green and gold which has reminded me that he's a noob. I can't think of anything.

Last night was yet another game where he made his own luck. That seems to be a theme with him, making his own luck. He makes something out of hardly ever being passed a ball, out of high balls, desperate defence efforts and seemingly having enough power to lean into it when he needs to.

...and he's good on the mic.

@Plum if Dickie Kriel bulks up any more he's going to end in the front row, the man is already a beast.
Did you check he was top tackler for the Lions against the ABs? Top intercept thrower too, but there wasn't much competition so it doesn't really count.

@Pakie the man is singlehandedly carrying both Temu and the Lions to the finish line.

Hence force he shall be know as a Rickie Temu Von Atlas Kriel

Plumster you will doubtless recall that I selected Hooker before Arendse. He has a great rugby brain.
I think in future our back three could be Kolbe, Hooker and Willemse. Kolbe though has a broken jaw so he will be out for a while.
That said Arendse had a good game and wont let us down if he plays.

That's a very solid selection. Arendse is electric, but the trade off is his total lack of physicality.

I like what I have seen thus far. He looks switched on and engaged. He looks for work, and sums up broken play instantly. He has all the ingredients for a successful career at test level. Interestingly, he is one of the new faces I haven't seen before. It's great to see a new generation stepping forward to stake their claim.

He was almost good as this in his debut test, away from home, against the ABs. Thus far, hasn't put a foot wrong.

Somebody on this forum called him robotic. Imagine!?

Still, people were saying that Arendse had lost some pace, yet he ran Carter down like a child...and Carter is supposed to be the fastest AB at the moment.

Hoor hoor, kid is doing a fantastic job. I've been watching him play in a really poor sharks team for the last two seasons. He never stops, busy all games if the line is broken, he chases down. Where as some on here have been harping on about Jerenzo Julius who can break the line, but that is about it. Doesn't play the rest of the game.

Only 23, time for him and Moodie to he in the same team.

If I was hooker I would go to the bools or the Stomers, hell, even the lions.

Just worried of he plays to long on the wing if he would ever become a centre. That said, he may be a bit too lean, but he has serious pace and very strong

Jirre I would love for him to come to the Lions.

And he can bring AE with him...and Moyo.

Also, don't say "even" the Lions like that. You disrespect my chinas at your own peril!
