Cant wait for the day Rassie announces his team after the final whistle on matchday.

Vusi to start surrounded by experience. Hope he goes well. Also hope Jasper stays on the field long enough to play with his boetie, first time they'll start a game together. Could've happened against Italy but for a silly "head butt". Big day for the Wiese family.

Still with Reinach. Will be interesting to watch Jaco Williams, he's a bemusing selection to me as I didn't see anything special about him in the URC apart from scoring a try between Gelant's legs. I hoped Quan would get a start in this game, instead it's Fassi again. Good rotation I guess, just PSDT and Divvy not getting a break.

@Pakie I think PSDT is nearing his 100 caps and I think Rassie wants to make sure he gets it in Cape Town against the AB's in the 2nd test. Same with De Allende. I think after this weeknd we dont see him again until the 2nd test. PSDT need to play against Argentina and the 1st AB test to get his 100 in the 2nd. I think Divvy has been rewarded for some great showings but after this I don't know that we'll see him for the Greatest Rivalry Tour. Siya will play those. likely Eben as well.

As for Jaco... I agree. Don't see what he could add. might be a case of resting the big guns for the AB's now. I do think were in a sticky situation come wingers and their throwing all sorts of players out there to see what sticks. Arendse looks like he's lost a step. Kolbe while still the goat has never really had elite top speed and is getting on now. I thought Jooste would slot in easily enough but he looked sluggish last night against the poms. Fassi looks like he needs a detox and lie down. Rassie will give him another opportunity come Saturday but I think the writings on the wall...for this season at least. He's struggling to come back from ankle and then shoulder surgery.

Jaco Wiliams looks very small, not sure he is ready for test rugby. I think he is still in the Under 20 team.

A bit odd indeed... Rassie is seeing something we don't...

Rassies pick and mix. Can't say I'm ecstatic about this selection. Either too old or no name quota selection. Why Vusi? Haven't proved anything yet or showed that he is a talent. Williams must be a joke. Very scared of contact and got destroyed in the URC.

Glad to see Paul De Villiers keeping kwotalisi on the side lines.

Still no sign of Ebenezer. Father time has come around fast. Probably regrets it for not getting JJ in there.

My fear is that this team will be undercooked for ABs who are starting to look real dangerous

Erasmus is staying true to his word, giving all the guys in the squad a chance to play. Fassi must be close to getting enough chances?

Quan should have been on the bench. I believe he should start, as his form is much better.

I'm really happy for Sadie, Van Heerden (FFS, Rassie, it's about time!) Vusi and Jaco. Let's see what they've got. I think Vusi can be great, especially with his awareness and distribution. He has a smooth, controlled kicking game.

It's astounding how many different Bok teams we can put on the pitch and actually win with. That must be scary and daunting for the rest of the rugby world.

What makes you think BJD is not Bok Material Shark?

I have never seen him play well for the Boks.
