Quick thoughts on Lions.

Not sure why Akkerman didn't start Redlinghuys. I dont think the score really told the full story. The Lions played better than the score would suggest. Glad the Highlanders were denied the Bonus point. Akker still struggles to put in good lineout ball. It's a shame because I enjoy the rest of his play. Jantjies did well with what service he had. The Lions seemed to attack a lot more than the Highs, despite the early posessional advantage from poor strumming by the Lions...and a bit of non-square strumming by the Highs. Couple of moments in the game that swing the momentum... 1) Combrink failing to dot down. 2) Extremely early call of "advantage over" just prior to Highs second try. 3) Lions caught napping at the quick lineout.
