Nice debuts for Ruben v Heerden, Sadie and Williams. Moyo was ok, should never have been elevated to test status in the first place

Loved the contribution by the Wiese brothers - pure power. Cobus Wiese needs to be a more regular fixture of the Bok side

Baby Boks won but it to was a crap game - wet conditions. We were not convincing but did the job. The side lacked grunt at 4 and 7

Kiwi’s look sharp and focused - definitely heading in the right direction. That was a polished performance. Played with purpose and intent

The ABs are looking good again. But Ireland could have come back into the game were it not for couple of very stupid mistakes and some 50/50s not going their way.

That Mc Closkey pass that ended in the Jordan try was a gut punch to Irish momentum and happened right when Ireland looked like coming back into the game.

And if I didn't like Pretender before the game then I really don't like him now. He loves to look good but is totally ineffective when his pack is in a bit of trouble.

I'd say the ABs are looking better, but I think the result was a little exaggerated.

The standout was the AB ruck intensity. They were very fast and frenetic at rucks.

How do the Boks counter that? We won't match them for speed, but will obviously out power them. Gun to my head, I'd say our strategy should be to commit less men to rucks on Kiwi ball and have more guys on their feet close to the ruck.

That's were Ireland screwed up. They tried to match the AB speed to rucks with manpower and ended up leaving holes that one off runners and pick and goes made ground through.

Pen has his moments but is defensively frail, the AB’s attacked his channel productively a few times

McCloskey is a donkey at 12

The Boks need to just play their game and dominate the AB’s physically and yes commit less to the ruck.

McKenzie runs good lines from deep, we need to be aware of that - he came close a few times to breaking through

Jordan is just unbelievable. Love and their 7 have added much value to the side as has finding a 13 that looks the part

It’s going to be a classic series. Let’s hope the majority of our players are fit by then
