"We’ve gotten out of the game what we wanted to get out of it, and now it’s full focus on the All Blacks series."
Moodie also highlighted how the Boks are closely monitoring the All Blacks’ performance and strategy leading up to their encounter.
"They’ve already played against the Stormers and have another match coming up against the Sharks, so we’ll be dialled in to whatever they’re doing and prepare as best we can."
The recent match against Argentina provided the Springboks not only with a victory but also with valuable experience, particularly for those new to playing in such a challenging environment. Moodie praised the team's resilience under pressure.
"The coaches prepared us well for what was to come. Many of the boys hadn’t played in Argentina before but we knew it was going to be hostile," Moodie reflected. "We just stuck to our guns and our systems, and that won us the game. We showed a lot of character but our system was there backing us against the fatigue and the long ball-in-play and hostile crowd."
