What this man says makes more sense than the Russia is collapsing narrative. For Russia to collapse oil would have to totally tank. And Putin can’t back down nor can the US assuredly fight a war deep into Eastern Europe.

That means at some point both parties have to give up something and get enough to proclaim victory to their constituents. The West has already demonstrated that Russia is not the force the world thought it was. But it’s still enough of a force to defeat Ukraine….the population numbers he cites and deaths among the military  reinforce that point.

What he predicts is the collapse is already baked in and we have passed our strongest negotiating point.  I hope he’s wrong, but he may be  right.
