A few of us kokkenotched this oke in the URC two seasons ago and thought he had Bok written all over him, and he didn't take long to prove us right. He looks so comfortable at this level. Solid under the high balls today, great cover defence, straight up ran over one of the best in the business in Jordan when he got one on one with him. I think Arendse might struggle to get back in, Hooker and Kolbe are two very different players but I think they cut an excellent balance on the edges for us.

@Saffolk just yanking your chain, Dave.

However, in all seriousness, Hooker is a far more complete player than JJ. If you think about it, Hooker could play 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 while JJ can basically play 13 and perhaps 12 at a push.

On top of that Hooker has basically come to test rugby and from his very first cap he's looked like a 50 cap Bok.

We're all going on about Sacha but I think Hooker is very special in his own right.

Still, a shame that he has to live on scraps like all our wingers do.

@Plum yeah I’m a big fan of Hooker, who is wasted on the wing much like Moodie is

Sacha’s current lack of form is a reminder of just how hard a game our wonderful game is - it’s a leveller
