All Blacks really stretching the French defence, just another rushed option has them losing the ball and France recovers again.

If the ABs can find a little more patience and stop forcing passes they'll crack the French open before long. Just falling over the frantic hurdle right now.

My word that was some work in the tramlines from the ABs!

They rumbled ahead 40 meters all inside 15m of space

Knock on the line by the ABs. Pity, that time they kept it close and built as I said and damn near had it.

That sounds like a textbook description of a powerful, compressed forward drive in Rugby. Gaining 40 meters while constrained to a narrow 15-meter channel of the field requires immense physicality, tight clean-outs, and cohesive forward play to break through the defensive line

Great fight back from the ABs. France tried to outpace them and there was a glimpse of panic from the ABs but once the game settled down France didn't seem like they could live with them.

France do look vulnerable to the pick and go.

Will be interesting to see how they adapt in the final 40.

Seeing the half highlights, DMac played some good ball.

French will need to play deeper. They're very flat and the ABs are getting between them and killing their flow and momentum.

French leaving acres of space for the ABs all over the place. They're in for some pain if they can't tighten that up.

Lovely hands now by the ABs and Roigard in for his second. That was almost too easy. French defense looks very vulnerable, especially out wide.

They go quick, cross kick but it's fumbled!

And France are penalised for playing on the ground.

It's a sure 3 points but one feels they should go to the corner and play time and territory.

They take 3

29-25 ABs
