This one is set to be played today…at Newlands.
Totally different pitch and it’ll probably be pretty dry with some nice bounce.
Chances are that India win this one, as is usually the way when the series has already been decided.
Hoping Boucher goes for or a spin heavy attack and includes Linde today. Would like to see Maharaj, Linde, Shamsi and Markram strangle India.
Let’s also hope that Malan has another good showing.

Haha Quintie batting with the specific purpose of pissing Moz off.
To be fairy to the chap, that’s two innings on the trot where he’s done well batting first IE not front running.
Retiring from Tests was a good idea. The shorter format is his thing and Verrynne is much better suited to it anyway.

…and Dussen looks immovable.

De Kock 122
Dussen 50
Partnership 142 atm.
India need to be smarter here. None of their plans are working.
Teapots abound.

Quintie out.
14 overs to go with 214 on the board.
I’d call this a platform for Miller

Phehlukwayo in.
Another wicket and the collapse is on.

Should really have used more spin on this pitch. It was turning a lot for India earlier.

Pretorius takes the last wicket and the Proteas clean India up again.
Nice batting by De Kock.
He received a respectful send off from the Indians when they finally got him.
Not nice time for India but they’re still one of my favourite teams for the Proteas to play against.

The Quintie catch had one great angle from directly behind the fielder as he took the catch with Table Mountain in the background.
