The Boer War fcked up my volkie's psyche for a century if not more...and the Ukraine war is a thousand times worse...Ukraine will be scared for generations to come...so sad...the modern world should have been able to prevent these nonsensical wars by now ...sadly not.

You are 100;% correct and I agree with  you about prevention of wars.  It is a tragedy that wars are encouraged by so many people - the predominant country in that regard being  the USA   They did it in Afghanistan, Iraq and now Ukraine.    Tragic - but true.   the same thing  effecting children negatively happened in all three and even more o in Iraq w here the US A used depleted uranium arms that caused over a million children to get cancer as a result.

War is never an answer to anything .   Iraq after 20 years  is still in chaos and Ukraine is beig destroyed.    What a tragedy.   .
