What impressed me about the Wallabies was their clinical execution in the maul and their warrior-like attitude, which I think stood out the most. Of course, it gave them an advantage when the Boks played with only 12 players.

You’ll spend hours posting, tagging people and defending your takes, but calling out your disrespect for Franco is wasting time?

The only thing you’re protecting here is your right to talk shit without consequences.

So let’s be honest about what you’re saying: "I can disrespect our players, but don’t you dare challenge me." Noted. The rest of us will keep backing the Boks, even when they have a bad day.

The level to which the Aussies were underestimated in apparently both the Bok camp and among supporters tells me people need to watch more rugby outside of just the Boks. Their struggles to find their passes in the early passages of the first half has been somewhat of a refrain for them throughout the season, but underneath all of that you always got the feeling something just needs to start sticking and they're going to be a menace. They've grown into a very physical side this season on top of their enterprising back play, and in Hunter and Lenny they've found a midfield combo that can cause all sorts of damage. If Kiss can fix their defense, which has probably been their biggest failing, they can get heavy competitive over the next year.

@Pakie The NRL has made huge progress, securing a multi-million-dollar long-term deal, while Rugby Union has tripped up repeatedly. They’re also facing competition from the hugely popular Aussie Rules, which boasts over 220,000 players. Honestly, it’s hard to believe Rugby Union still has any sort of presence.
One other thing, Ozzies I've noticed won't support a losing Wallaby side, it's only the die hards who do.

I should also add that traditionally Union players only come out of private schools so it's a very narrow window to start off with.

Most frightening stat, at 65 min boks made, 150 tackles and the wobblies made 47.

That is the game there. The boks kicked less, but could not control the ball in contact, made meters but then turned it over and so on.

They did do the work and we lost the contact, weren't patient with the ball and almost felt we could steam roll them.

Aus did brillianty to play the edges, keep it tight and then break the line.

Now I want to see if the cam win at least 1 game against NZ
