Speaking at a recent URC round table, Zebo, a seasoned player with stints at Munster and Racing 92, highlighted the significant advantages that Leinster holds. He pointed out that Leinster is not just defending champions but also possesses a profound squad depth and a track record of success that sets them apart.

Although Leinster remains a strong favorite, Zebo did not overlook the potential threats from South African teams. He acknowledged the quality present in the South African squads, suggesting that their size and tactical approach could pose challenges.
However, Zebo believes Leinster's experience in handling high-pressure matches, especially demonstrated in their recent final victories over the Bulls, underscores their readiness for the season.
"But given what Leinster have done to the Bulls in previous finals, their squad is so deep, they have so much quality. There’s a confidence there as well when you are champions. It’s tough to knock over the current champs."
The competition looks stiff with teams like the Stormers, Glasgow, and Munster also vying for the title. Yet, with Leo Cullen at the helm for his last season as head coach, the motivation within the Leinster camp is palpable. Zebo rounded off his comments by asserting the robust status of Leinster in the championship's hierarchy.
"With the South African sides, Glasgow and Munster, there are plenty of teams in the mix," he added. "But, as of now, Leinster are probably still favourites going in by the bookies. It’s hard to begrudge them that. I think they are still very much the team to beat."
As the season progresses, all eyes will be on whether Leinster can secure an unprecedented third consecutive URC title under Cullen's leadership or if a challenger will rise to dethrone the reigning champions.
