pro-Iran rally by Iranians in Melbourne left me puzzled as to why these individuals would opt for democracy if they were content living under a draconian regime. I also find myself questioning whether they genuinely understand and appreciate the concept of democracy. Maybe it’s just my cynicism, but perhaps my doubts could be set aside and we could simply call them stupid.
