Ha, Ha...

'Hungary has chosen Europe': Von der Leyen reacts to election

Some reaction now from president of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.

Writing on X in Hungarian, she says: "Hungary has chosen Europe. Europe has always chosen Hungary.

"Together, we are stronger. A country reclaims its European path.

"The Union grows stronger.

"Hungary has chosen Europe. Europe has always chosen Hungary.

"Together, we are stronger. A country returns to its European path. The Union grows stronger."

Orban hasn't lost an election in 16 years. Bozo backs him and he loses.

Well done Peter Magyar.

It wasn't Trump backing him that caused it. Polls have shown for some time Orban was going to lose. Under normal circumstances Magyar wouldn't exactly be my cup of tea, but this is great day for democracy and for Europe. I hope there is thorough investigations into Orab's rule and he faces the consequences for his actions. An absolute traitor to his people and to Europe.

It removes a servant of Putin from the EU. He has slowed down EU support to Ukraine, amongst other anti-EU measures. The EU needs to change its veto right to stop 1 or 2 countries voting against the majority.

It also removes America (the Russian-friendly traitor) from our politics and campaigning for parties that want to end the EU.

The EU continues to grow, and countries want to join. Unlike America, who are the divided states of America.

California is polling at 45% to become its own country.

California subsidise the brain-dead low-tax red states like Kansas City and Alabama that can't afford to pay taxes- a bit like socialism/charity. California is the jewel of America. They could also get off the hook for the 40 trillion US debt. Or maybe New York and the other blue states with brains will join them.

J.D. Vance's contribution might have been enough to gain the supermajority.

UPDATE: Hungarian election 97% of the vote counted: TISZA has 138 seats (supermajority), while Fidesz (Orban) has only 55

Right now, America are worse than Iran. Trump is a dictator who invaded Iran, just like he blockaded Venezuela to control oil and secure favourable trade deals. Cuba has been left to suffer without oil, with hospitals and civil services collapsing.

The world does not support this garbage.

So you keep loving dictatorships and in the meantime lied about it, The USA did not invade Venezuela and Iran - in the case of Venezuela it was a police action that led to arrest of a dru g snuggler to the U SA and Europe. No iasion of Iran happened - there are zero UStroops on Iran territory.

And accordin g to shot spread by you Orban was a dictator when demcoratic elections was always held in Hungary and when Orban lost the eelctio n it proved he was never a dictator. So when you want to spread lies b e careful about it.

In Calfornoa opinion pols indicate that the Demcpodratic Party ahds fucjked up everything and 2 million people fled from that State to areas where proper living conditiosn controlled by the Republican Party. If California decide tossecedde from the USA - most midde class and rich would flee fom it - like already happened. With the highest crime rate and living costs as well as he highest number of people in California living on sidewalks you can see how the State would collapse, The rural areas will insist on seceeding from the shit called California.

The worst dictators are the more you seem to love them - what a doos

Well, firstly, the one dictator was removed by a democratic vote while the other was killed by bombs.

Secondly, Orban's entire government has been replaced by a new government. When Ali Khamenei was killed he was simply replaced by his son. Same government, same regime. Nothing to "cheer" unless you're dumb enough to believe the likes of Bozo and Hegsuck who still insist there was "regime change".

DumbMike, there are many dictatorships around the world, but every country has a right to self-determination. Countries that declare war on others are the problem. (e.g., your heroes: Putin and Trump).

You claim to be a student of history. History has shown that wars nearly always have economic motives, despite the formally stated "pretext" motives.

Trump's actions against Venezuela had everything to do with forcing them to trade oil in dollars.

Oil-rich countries are increasingly trading in other currencies - especially Chinese. That would lead to the end of the petro-dollar and the dollar's status as a global reserve currency.

What did Cuba do wrong? Americans are garbage to allow their government to blockade an innocent country. to remove the existing government with a more US-friendly (or bribed) government that will allow US companies to secure favourable contracts.

As for California homelessness, this is happening in cities and the most developed places around the world. It appears worse in America, but America has very limited civil services. They also have more egotistical billionaires who do not care about society as a whole, and probably buy up property to mess around with the natural supply/demand.

America's focus is to win the Tech and AI race. To hell with the rest of their society.

More than 70% of Big Tech workers in America were not born in America. It is not an American First agenda - it is Corporations first.

If you asked anyone in the world if they would prefer to live in California or the redneck states like Alabama and Kansas City, it is a no-brainer what the response would be.

The redneck states are carried by the Blue States. If the US were all red states, it would probably not even be a first-world country.

Texas is just a tax fraud that attracts companies and rich people with low tax rates (Like Ireland in Europe). Florida is a retirement home for rich people to dodge taxes.

I agree this blight on humanity needs to be removed. The ME will never be at peace if this regime, getting its orders from headquarters in the sky, is allowed to continue. No deal with them has any meaning, because if it’s in the regimes interest to break it, it’s in headquarters’ interest.

Allowing this 12 Century regime to have nuclear weapons would be complete folly. Unfortunately it can’t be done without loss of life and suffering, but it needs to be done.

That is not true or it's manipulative at best.

What I did say was that I support the ideals of communism but readily admit that it's never been implemented successfully because of the nature of man's desire for power.

I have also said that now that we have AI, the day will come when AI can successfully implement the communist ideals and we no longer need to have this enormous gulf between the super rich and the very poor.

That's what rankles with me. I have no problem with hard-working, ambitious or intelligent people getting higher education and earning more money than a manual worker, but that gap between them is too great for me.

Mozart, that's fair enough but don't pretend Operation Epic Fail has effected "regime change". It's the same regime, just with a younger, angrier and more vengeful leader at the helm.

Orban has been replaced by a brand new government. The new Iranian Supreme Leader is part of the exact same regime that ruled before his father was killed. There's no comparison.

One of Trump's grifts is to pretend that he is religious and is getting orders from the Sky. He is more frequently praying in the Whitehouse. Many in the Whitehouse are publicly praying before and after meetings in the WhiteHouse

@DumbMike, the worst religion is Muslim - but I do see similar characteristics among Christian fundamentalists. The Koran and the Bible are very similar, with many of the same characters.

The main theme of the Koran is the Promised Land, Moses. Many religious people think they are God's chosen people.

In America, the average IQ is much higher in states with low religious affiliation (e.g., Democratic states).

However, conservative states that are less religious have a much closer IQ to the blue states. The religious states have a low IQ, with many simpletons. These places make up the bulk of the Trumpanzee species in America.

Pope Leo said he has "no fear" of Trump after the president said he was not doing a good job. He told reporters: "I have no fear of the Trump administration, or speaking out loudly of the message of the gospel, which is what I believe I am here to do, what the church is here to do.

" A leading historian has also criticised Trump, noting how "not even Hitler or Mussolini" attacked the Pope so directly.

Pope Leo XIV has publicly criticised Trump's military actions in Iran, describing threats against the country as "totally unacceptable" and calling the conflict unjust, unprovoked, immoral, and illegal. He emphasised peacemaking, stating his message aligns with the Gospel's "blessed are the peacemakers" and that he has "no fear" of the Trump administration.

Trump responded sharply on Sunday, April 12, 2026, via Truth Social and reporters, calling Pope Leo "weak on crime and terrible for foreign policy." He claimed he's "not a big fan," accused the Pope of endorsing nuclear weapons and urban crime, and even suggested Leo wouldn't be Pope without his influence. Trump also posted AI-generated images, including one portraying himself as Jesus and another as the Pope.

This spat follows earlier friction, like the Vatican's February refusal to join Trump's "Board of Peace" initiative, citing the UN's role in crises and clashing with Trump's views on international law.

The exchange has drawn media attention amid Iran's naval blockade and stalled peace talks, highlighting a moral vs. policy divide, with some noting Trump's Catholic administration figures (e.g., JD Vance, Marco Rubio) amid the feud

Bozo listens to the nonsense that his "spiritual advisor" Paula White-Cain tells him and he probably believes that he is the second coming of Jesus . . . and the Trumpanzees believe it too.

It's actually hard to believe just how conceited and self-important this clown is but let him post those kind of pictures and let him slag off the pope for preaching peace . . . he's losing the Catholic vote that got him elected in the first place and he's too stupid to realise it.

It was unfortunate what happened to Trumps previous spiritual advisor Robert Morris..

He was indicted in March 2025 on child sex abuse charges and later pleaded guilty in October 2025, after which he was taken into custody.

Robert Morris founded Gateway Church and served on Trump’s evangelical advisory committee during Trump’s first term. He was publicly described as a former Trump spiritual advisor, but the White House later denied this, after his conviction .

Media reports say Morris was indicted in Oklahoma in March 2025 on five counts of lewd or indecent acts with a child. In October 2025, he pleaded guilty and received a sentence that included county jail time.

Yep there isn’t. One country held a fair election. The other killed its political opponents. I never had much faith in the Iranian people rising against these brutes….too much to ask.

No matter what America does, Iran will get nukes. It is like playing a game of chess - their next move is certain. So, unless Trump destroys the whole country within months, they will have a working functional nuke.

The bullshit Trump is spinning about destroying all nuclear sites is false. Iran will have some deep underground. They are probably working at breakneck speed to have a nuke ready.

The obvious targets are Marelago and the Whitehose
