The European Parliament agreed on Thursday that the bloc would eliminate tariffs on American industrial goods — including machine parts, equipment and raw materials — and some agricultural products. This was a major part of the trade agreement the Europeans struck with the Trump administrationlast year.
The deal also includes 15% tariffs on European goods.
So much for the bombastic talk from European leaders.
