Certain places in the UK reached 36 degrees. This is by far the warmest summer I have seen in the UK. I was walking earlier today, and it felt like being in the Free State in a desert. This was as warm as any day in Durban, but Durban can also include an extra 4-5 degrees for humidity.

If cold winters are proof that global warming is not happening, then what is the warmest summer on record?
I have also noticed that the wind has increased over the last 4 years- even in summer.

Can you ever provide sources? Otherwise, it is just a lie.
June was the hottest on record. And July, might also be

Western Europe has hottest June on record

Western Europe has hottest June on record

June 2026 was the hottest June recorded for western Europe and the second warmest globally, driven by the highest sea surface temperatures (SSTs) on record for the month, according to the monthly update from the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S), implemented by the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF).

Global warming is definitely happening . . . it's just happening at a slow rate so stupid people don't recognise that it's happening.

And it's man-made climate change I'm talking about here.

G reene nergy is a hop;ess dream that is nice for use in propaganda, Non of the countries using gfreen energy has ever reached he output level ahoeved when planned and Europe still have to use gas fr heating pur[p;oses.

The ony c;ea energy source is of course nuclear,

Meanwhile Clean Canada which in 2023 experienced wildfire CO2 release 3 times their anthropogenic levels are at it again. Massive Canadian forest fires have turned the skies orange over much of northern USA. Golf courses are closed in my area because of unhealthy air. The WC is theoretically at risk but forecasted rain will probably save the day.

In this time of satellite coverage and air response, improving Canadian wildfire performance and that in other countries has to be one of lowest hanging fruits.

The problem is real but deliberately being blown out of proportion...the focus on how to fix it is wrong...the same people pushing green energy the hardest are the ones neglecting forestry...the people in charge where the biggest Forrest fires occurred...China are leaders in solar and electric cars, they've got nuclear plants, etc, yet they are still burning coal like there's no tomorrow...it doesn't ad up.

@DbDraad
Three yeas ago their was a report that China was vui;ding 58 coalburning power plants and e trying to negotiate a deal with Austalia to increase oal export to China.

The Cines are bot idiots - they prduce green energy equopment and electir drien cqaes to striy furher the Euripean motor manufacturing industry.

The problem is that thelat Ice age ended in the year 12 000 accoding to geological research, In th e 1970's the doomsday scaremongeing scientists declare that the new Ice Age would commence in 1985. when nothing happened the same scientists ad scaremongerers started doomsday prrdictions about globa warming nad the emdia too/k it up like their lives depend on it when gradua; warming omn earth really started

All, indications are that we are still in a stage where cor inmstance ove the last 200 years the increas was 1,2 degree F.

Soo dream on aand the scaremongerig will conlinue with non of the short term doomsday forecast that Miami will be under sea warter and so is Nw York. Onme of you,r admired zealo/ts spread the ame tory and then bought a mansion inon Martha;s Vongyard 100 meters from the see paying $14 million. He never practiced what h e preached and theire are enough suckers falling for it.

@becs Yes—this image is associated with a real story, although it's often shared online without context.

The photo shows a lioness affectionately embracing a man who helped raise and care for her at a wildlife facility. Lions that have been hand-raised or rehabilitated can sometimes recognize and show familiar, affiliative behavior toward trusted caretakers they have known for years.

A few important points about the story:

The hug is genuine behavior, not an edited image.
The lioness is interacting with someone she already knows well—not a stranger.
This happened in a controlled setting with experienced wildlife handlers.
It is not evidence that lions are "safe pets" or that wild lions generally behave this way. Even lions that are accustomed to humans remain powerful wild animals and can be unpredictable.

From the image alone, I can't verify the exact location or identify the specific people involved, because similar photos of lion-human hugs have circulated from several wildlife parks and sanctuaries over the years.

If you're referring to a particular viral version of this image, I can also help trace where it first appeared and explain the full background. ChetGPT
