Wildberries is responsible for over 50% of all online or retail sales in Russia. By far the largest retailer, known as the Russian Amazon.
Since mid‑July 2026, Ukraine has repeatedly struck Wildberries warehouses across Russia.
12 facilities had been reported hit in around 2 weeks. Around 2 billion of stock has been destroyed so far.
Wildberries policy change: Wildberries updated its seller terms in early July 2026 to classify hostilities/drone strikes as force majeure, limiting its liability for destroyed stock; this has caused major controversy and financial strain for sellers.
